I will provide a 20 minute FREE telephone consultation for new clients. Please mention the website promotion at time of first contact. Please email or leave a voice mail, with 2 or 3 best times to telephone.
The First session will usually be a 90 minute session, as we need to review the Intake information. If you complete, sign and forward the Intake and Confidentiality agreements (Intake Confidentiality Contract (Download the form) in advance of the first session – we will be able to devote the rest of the session time to your narrative and the start of our therapeutic journey – together.
Note – Manitoba Health does not cover therapy. Some Health Insurance company benefits may offer limited coverage. You will be expected to pay for therapy directly, even if you are later reimbursed by your insurance company. Receipts will be issued upon request.
If this is a concern, please check with your insurance company before getting started. Many employers/insurance companies will respond to customer demand, so you can ask to have Marriage and Family Therapists (MFT) or Certified Canadian Counselors (CCC) covered in your insurance package. The rate is $160/clinical hour (50 minutes therapy) + 5% Goods and Services Tax (G.S.T.).
To honour those who have or are currently serving in the military/police forces and their families, I will provide a discount if you request at the initial appointment set up. Simply mention this note.
